M12 circular connectors: faster and for larger cross sections

Field-installable HARAX M12-XL for cross-sections bigger than 0.5 mm²

HARAX®, the field-installable M12 connector with rapid termination technology, is also available in a 5-pin version for a maximum cross-section of 1.0 mm². Cable cross-sections up to 1 mm² and cables with an outer diameter up to a maximum of 9.6 mm can be connected. The cable side has been adapted to the requirements of the larger cables. Vibration-proof contacting and IP 67 protection are just as self-evident as in the known connectors with HARAX® termination technology. The connector has been designed for 4 A. The outer diameter has been expanded because as the cables get larger, so do the moments of force that have to be absorbed.

har-speed M12 Receptacle for 10GB

As a part of the expansion of the portfolio for data connectors in the 10GB environment, HARTING has developed angled and straight receptacles for device integration. The mating face has been designed to comply with PAS IEC 61076-2-109 and satisfies the strict requirements regarding Next, Fext, return and insertion loss. The new M12 mating face features an integrated shielding cross (x-coded) that protects against incorrect insertion with other coding systems while also shielding the cable strands, and consequently the signals, from one another. The continuous shielding is a feature for the high performance Class EA and Cat. 6A, which is achieved with this new connector generation. The materials have been selected to allow reflow soldering for the receptacles. Special requirements from certain application environments have also been fulfilled.
