Sentinel Kinetic Plus MVHR System From Vent-Axia

Vent-Axia has expanded its range of residential mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) systems. Vent-Axia has added to its established Sentinel Kinetic range with the launch of the high efficiency Sentinel Kinetic Plus. The Sentinel Kinetic Plus is designed for larger newbuild properties and light commercial applications and supplies a maximum airflow of 400m3/hr at 150Pa. The Sentinel Kinetic Plus is a SAP Appendix Q eligible ventilation solution capable of up to 92 per cent heat recovery.

It helps to reduce the DER of new build properties and deliver points in the Code for Sustainable Homes. This MVHR system combines supply and extract ventilation in one unit. The unit's energy saving Vent-Axia Lo-Watt DC motors further improve its efficiency and carbon reducing capabilities. The Sentinel Kinetic Plus boasts an Specific Fan Power (SFP) as low as 0.49w/l/s. The Sentinel Kinetic Plus is lightweight with low noise levels and is suitable for cupboard or loft installation.

The exact ventilation rate can be set on the LCD display at normal and boost speeds, supply and extract, to match the volume of the property, while a delay on timer prevents unnecessary boosting and a delay off timer ensures effective moisture removal. The Sentinel Kinetic Plus' operation is further enhanced by a range of internal and external, plug and play control and sensor options which can account for changes in humidity, air quality, PIR (Passive Infra Red), CO2 and temperature, and a BMS input and output.

The Sentinel Kinetic Plus' operating temperature settings can be pre-programmed for automatic operation of the summer bypass, providing free summer cooling. Sentinel Kinetic Plus is part of the Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon collection of energy saving ventilation solutions. The aim of the Lo-Carbon initiative is to offer the latest low carbon ventilation technology in order to reduce building energy consumption and so carbon emissions.
